I'm gonna miss this....

Every night without fail Cadence ends up in my bed.  And every night I huff and puff and let her in. I moan and complain about how she is taking up to much room and how she needs to sleep in her own bed.   It has become as constant battle! Well I have decided it no longer needs to be a battle and I need to start embracing it. There is going to time (way to soon) that she will want nothing to do with me.  She is gonna be to cool to cuddle with her mom.  So from now on I shall hug her and snuggle her close and try to remember I will miss this when it's gone.

Rebecca......

So it's official Cadence has an imaginary friend.  I was thinking she was talking about our family friend Rebecca.  She saw a picture of her and said that is the Rebecca I'm talking about.  But Cadence talks about all the things that "Rebecca" has taught her.  And how she goes to Rebecca's house to play.  One of my favorite things Cadence has told me about Rebecca is when I was asking her how she learned something and she said "Rebecca taught it to me when I went to her house when I was 22." She makes laugh.  As long as "Rebecca" is just stories this won't bother me.  But I'm not gonna lie it will freak me out if she starts saying she is with us and talks to her!!!!

9 month checkup......

Colin had his 9 month well baby appointment today.  He is 28 1/2 inches (75th percentile) And weighs a whopping 20.2 lbs (50th percentile)  I cannot believe how big my baby is now! He is right on track for everything he should be doing.  He even stood up for a few seconds unassisted today.  However I'm ok if he never walks.  He is already into everything I can't imagine how he is gonna be when he starts walking.  He had to get a shot today and he really surprised me....he never cried!! He made a little sound but not a tear was shed.  I am worried that he is heading in the same path as his mommy and sister with our ear problems.  He had some fluid in his ears and was given antibiotics to hopefully clear it up.  I just pray this is a one time thing and doesn't have more issues and need tubes.  Only time will tell.
